10CFR830.120 - DOE O414.1 Auditor Training - 3-Day  

J-E-T-S has encouraged the use of highly qualified, technically capable personnel during performance-based audits and assessments for many years.  Developed for both new and experienced auditors, this program provides attendees with the tools needed to manage the planning,  performance and reporting of performance-based audits in nuclear facilities and meet requirements for Lead Auditor training in 10CFR830.120, DOE O414.1 and/or NQA-1. 

Lead Auditor Training is fast-paced, providing the knowledge and skills needed to successfully fulfill the duties and objectives of lead auditor or assessment leader, consistent with 10CFR830.120, DOE O414.1, and NQA-1 requirements.  This is not an old, warmed-over program; it uses state-of-the-art approaches to auditing and training, and covers industry issues like:

bulletPrice-Anderson enforcement.

Using J-E-T-S POURô process for managing audits, this program includes workshops, discussion, and examples, covering the following topics:

1. Audit/Assessment Requirements, Fundamentals, and Methods

2. Audit Planning (P-Plan)

3. Audit Performance (O-Observe)

4. Audit Analysis and Evaluation (U-Understand)

5. Reports (R-Report)

This training can prepare Auditors to effectively meet the challenges of performing and leading a performance-based audit and providing useful feedback to line management.

Maximum class size:  15 (6-9 optimal)

Cost:  $8950 for onsite presentation (+ normal travel expenses; add $400 for custom exam preparation, proctoring, and grading)
